Goal
The goal was to create a narrative game that could bring Brazilian folklore to life in a way that felt immersive, playful, and emotionally engaging for younger players. I wanted the experience to spark curiosity and make children more interested in Brazilian culture by turning these stories into something they could connect with our culture, rather than simply learn about. A big part of the intention was to balance education with entertainment, creating something meaningful, but still genuinely fun to explore and play. The project became a way to celebrate Brazilian cultural roots while building a world that felt magical, approachable, and alive.
Result
My approach combined visual storytelling, cultural research, and interface clarity. The world was shaped through references from Brazilian folklore studies, helping us build characters and environments that felt rooted in real cultural narratives rather than simplified fantasy tropes. Visually, I focused on creating a language that felt warm, expressive, and approachable, while still carrying a sense of mystery and depth. At the same time, accessibility and usability remained central, making sure the experience felt inclusive and easy to navigate.

I directed the team to integrate artwork and UI elements into the game. We conducted user testing and incorporating player feedback, we optimized the game's accessibility aspects, resulting in an inclusive game and better experience. Nativoz did showcase the beauty and complexity of Brazilian folklore, becoming a powerful tool for education, entertainment, and specially social impact.
